
Sesame Hoisin Asparagus
I love roasting veggies they are the best. This recipe is a twist on the simple version of olive oil, sea salt and fresh lemon
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs fresh asparagus
- 2 tbsp hoisen sauce
- 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dark sesame oil
- 1 to 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- Fresh black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- Trim woody bottom section off asparagus stems
- Spread in a single layer on a parchment covered bake sheet
- Whisk all ingredients except sesame seeds in a bowl
- Pour over asparagus using hands to cover generously
- Then sprinkle with seeds
- Roast 10 to 12 min depending on size until all spears are tender and lightly browned
- Top with fresh ground pepper and serve
